Eric Nation helped start and develop Jasper County Drug Endangered Children Alliance and is a member of the National DEC Criminal Justice Working Group. He is a Certified Core DEC Instructor and has been involved in the training of thousands of professionals across the United States!


Drug endangered children are part of a growing population of children whose lives are being impacted by parental substance use or drug activity. This training will look at overcoming the challenges in aligning the agencies and systems responsible for preventing, intervening, and treating issues related to drug endangered children. This training will also focus on how to implement the Drug Endangered Children (DEC) Approach, which has been proven to be effective in increasing the chances of better outcomes for drug endangered children and breaking multi-generational cycles of abuse and neglect. Insights about how various professionals are in a position to identify, protect, and serve drug endangered children and their families will be provided.
