| Responsibilities: | Special Education teacher is needed for the 2017-2018 school year at Coffeen. This cross categorical position will serve students in the Pre-K programs at this attendance center. Strong interpersonal skills and collaboration with other teachers and therapist are required as emphasis is on students' success in the general education environment. Excellent direct instruction and behavior management skills are also required in this position. Additionally, the teacher will manage a case load and develop effective IEPS for students. |
| Qualifications: | Illinois Licensure with Early Childhood Special Education approval (ECT). Mid-State Special Education, Montgomery County/Carlinville Region serves Carlinville CUSD #1, Hillsboro CUSD #3, Litchfield CUSD #12, and Panhandle CUSD #2. We are located in central Illinois about 45 minutes South of Springfield, IL and 60 minutes North of St. Louis, MO. |
