Developmental Screenings

Screenings

Developmental screenings are completed on enrolled children ages 2 months to 36 months every six months.

Screenings will cover areas:

  • Physical Development
  • Social/Emotional Development
  • Problem Solving
  • Communication
  • Health
  • Vision
  • Hearing

Parent educators work alongside parents to monitor whether or not the child is developing with the normal range based on his/her age. These screenings do not replace those that would be done as part of a regular check up with the family physician.
