The building where one of the ROE county offices is housed is an ancient four-story megalithic structure that started life as the "Benwood Hotel". In its heyday, it was THE place to stay when you visited the big, bustling city of Effingham by rail back in the 20s and 30s. This monstrosity has a labyrinth of a basement where mountains of old computer equipment goes to die. Does any of it work? Probably. It's stacked up along a wall.
