High School Equivalency

The Regional Office of Education offers High School Equivalency testing called TASC (Test Assessing Secondary Completion™). TASC testing is a paper-pencil based test currently offered on the first and third Fridays of each month in our Hillsboro office as well as by individual appointment at our Taylorville office. The cost of the TASC test is $101 ($20.20 per subject).

Visit to learn more about the TASC test, to see practice and sample materials, and to schedule the test(s). An email address and credit/debit card are required to schedule test(s).

For more information regarding TASC, please contact Sarah Huckstead at 217-824-4730.

The Regional Office of Education can still fulfill the Constitution Test requirement at no charge. Contact your local ROE office to arrange a time for testing.
